Many people today in their quests to look good and lose weight pays loads of monies to achieve these aims. But sometimes, the most obvious method can also be the cheapest if only people are aware about it. In this article we will talk about how this simple way which cost next to nothing can actually help an individual lose weight. All that is required is just a little investment in time.

The method that we are talking about is actually just about having regular breakfast. Yes,it is just about having a regular breakfast in the morning before rushing off to the office. For most people, they neglected to have regular breakfasts because they are rushed for time. However this is not a very advisable thing to do at all. By doing so, you will actually gained weight instead of losing it. Basically there are two reasons why this will occur:-

1. Your metabolic rate remains at a very low level: Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Your body derives its primary energy from your breakfast, and it uses this energy to keep you active throughout the day. You may not be aware of it but you can remain active only because your metabolic rate remains at a high level.

By skipping breakfast, what we actually did was to cut off our energy supply. The body will react by slowing down its metabolism rate to conserve energy. Ultimately this will lead to your body burning fats at a slower rate. If your metabolism rate is high the opposite is true and this is why you will not gain weight if your metabolism rate is high.

This is the main reason why skipping breakfast will result in weight gain. There is also another reason why skipping breakfast will result in weight gain.

2. When you skipped Breakfast, you are more likely to compensate your food intake by stopping by the fast food restaurants. We all had seen TV adverts about fast food restaurants promoting their early morning breakfasts which saves you time. However we must not forget that fast food menus are generally full of calories. So when you start to eat regularly at fast food restaurants instead of home cooked breakfast, it is not surprising that you will gain weight very quickly.

These are the two main reasons why you should not make it a habit of skipping your breakfast. It is infact the most important meal of the day for anyone. Ensure that the food that you consume are low calories. Foods like raw fruits, vegetables are low in calories. Also breads which are made from whole grain wheats are good as well. By having your breakfast at home, you can be sure that the food that you consume are not high in calories.

Avoid having chips and soda in your breakfast: they will fill your body with loads of empty and useless calories, which will automatically be deposited in your body as fat!
