Power Of Optimism Over Pesimism

December 3, 2007

Optimism - it is defined in the Oxford English dictionary as 1. hopefulness and confidence about the future or success of something, 2. the doctrine that this world is the best of all possible worlds. Pessimism on the other hand, is defined as 1. lack of hope or confidence in the future, 2. belief that this world is as bad as it could be or that evil will ultimately prevail over good. It is often said that an optimistic attitude is slightly dangerous. This is because you are more likely to underestimate... Read more »

Fifty And Loving It

December 3, 2007

In three weeks I will officially turn fifty. Hard to believe, because I’ve always been the ‘baby’ of the family but as they say, ‘it is what it is’. A mother of a seven-year-old, I truly enjoy G-rated movies, roller-skating and am just as excited as my daughter for the latest Hard-Rock Theme Park’s inception due in our area next April. In fact I can hardly wait. I still love 70s rock, walking in the rain and holidays. I still laugh with ‘I Love Lucy’,... Read more »

Passion, Purpose and Profit: The Three Simple Secrets to Living the Life You Have Imagined

December 3, 2007

It amazes my how many people I meet who hate what they do for a living. LOATHE getting up and going to work in the morning. Feel a constant daily diet of despair, misery and foreboding. I really don’t get it. And if you have any awareness of the internet marketing space - equally as confounding are all of these people who spend their days online, with a lusty but ill fated and chaotically conceived idea of how they are going to ride the next wave into the warm waters of the next big thing... Read more »

Law Of Attraction Success Stories

December 3, 2007

Everyone enjoys hearing uplifting stories. Here are a few success stories others have shared. Be encouraged as you read through them! Kaya teaches mom, “How it’s done…” Hello, I wanted to share how fun it is to watch my children attract to them that which they desire. It’s bliss watching them be so purely aligned and it teaches me so much! I was writing on a little index card, all the reasons that I would love an recreational vehicle for our family. I had my “ask... Read more »

What Does Age Have To Do With Learning A Foreign Language?

December 3, 2007

I learned Spanish when I was 22. I had graduated from college as a Math teacher and had no plans of ever being bilingual. I had taken 4 years of French in high school and hated it. When I made the decision to study Spanish, no one believed me. (Just for reference, this was in 1982, a time when learning foreign languages wasn’t a big deal in the US). Their reaction was along the lines of, “Your time has already come and gone.” In other words, for others, age was a factor. To make... Read more »

How to Teach Your Children the Power of Their Minds!

December 3, 2007

In looking at Tenet #5 — Choose to Take Divine Right Action and Choose to Love Making the Effort, Even More Than the Materialization of the Goal, let’s note the following excerpt: Inspiration combined with consistent Divine Right action is still the fastest pathway to success. Visions, dreams, intentions, and words are powerful. Each of these gives passion, direction, and inspirational fuel to create magical and wondrous experiences. However, a dreamer that refuses to take hold of the... Read more »

Find Your Motivation

December 3, 2007

Everyone has their own way of motivating themselves. Some people are incredibly self motivated. They know how to set goals and make achieving those goals a reality. Others need someone to keep reminding them of their goal and why they want to achieve it. I believe that we all possess the power to motivate ourselves. I think that self motivation starts with deciding what the problem we wish to solve is. Do we wish to lose weight? Are we unhappy in our job and would like to find a new one? Do we feel... Read more »

The Path To Riches, Envision Your Path

December 3, 2007

There is a path that we all must take in order to become rich. The path may be a little bit different for each one of us simply because we are coming from different backgrounds. At some point in our lives, however, that path will merge into one. The first step in becoming rich is to know for a fact that you will become rich and that there is nothing that will stand in your way from achieving that goal. If you allow negative thinking to enter into your life then it will suppress you and keep... Read more »

All Life Wants To Create More Life And Maintain Better Lives

December 3, 2007

What is it that all life wants to do? They want to create more life, and maintain a better life for themselves. For example, if you were to take a seed and drop it on the ground it would naturally find a way to grow. That is why you see things such as pieces of grass coming up through an asphalt driveway. The grass does not think that it is unable to achieve growing simply because it is in bad soil. What it does, rather, is to push its way up through the bad situation to achieve something better.... Read more »

Failure: Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt

December 3, 2007

What causes failure? What is the solution? For years, I asked myself these questions; because I mostly failed. My failure pattern started in childhood. Riding the school bus, students teased and beat me regularly. “Chinese, Japanese, dirty knees . . . ,” they rhymed mockingly at me interspersed with punches, slaps, and pokes. Chink and Jap became my names. I dreaded riding that bus. Each bus ride gradually drained my confidence - filling me with fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Hence, the... Read more »
