The Great Pyramid, the Mathematician, a Professor, and Engineer

July 12, 2008

John Taylor, an amateur astronomer, London publisher and mathematician began a study in order to analyze the measurements of the Great Pyramid. He wanted to understand the Great Pyramid from a mathematician’s point of view. Taylor concluded, that the builder of the Great Pyramid could not have been from Egyptian ancestry in either religion or race. After is research he believed that one day there would come a time when the measurements and contours of the inner portions of the Pyramid would be linked with history and especially in the relationship with Biblical prophecy. Piazzi Smyth, a Scottish Astronomer, and student of Taylor, decided to affirm, or if possible to refute... Read more »

Quantrill’s Massacre of Lawrence

July 10, 2008

The attack was a direct response to suppression aid by the people of Kansas to the Missouri raiders, which were led by Quantrill, a member of the pro-slavery Confederate forces. Lawrence is also where Union and Jayhawker forces get a headstart when they enter into Missouri. Before the Raid The raid was partly caused by the issuance of General Thomas Ewing Jr.’s General Order No. 10. The order commanded authorities to arrest anyone who is found sympathetic to Quantrill’s cause. Anyone who is caught is then detained automatically in Kansas City. Unfortunately, the makeshift prison collapsed on August 13, 1863, which caused the deaths of five women who were detained... Read more »

Football And Politics In Catalunia

July 10, 2008

Perhaps it’s the lack of a Catalan side to support that causes even the most nationalist of Catalans to put divisions aside. Was this an interesting glance at the mechanics of perceived division? It’s been said of the nationalist leaders of Catalunya and Spain’s other regions armed with claims to autonomy, that they’re out of touch with the woof and warp of mainstream society. Nationalist aspirations, some say, may have peaked. Indeed the Catalan nationalist party Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) now holds only 21 seats in the Catalan Regional Parliament... Read more »

The Great Pyramid and the Bird of Fire

July 9, 2008

One of the strangest and least understood myths of Ancient Egypt concerns the bennu bird or phoenix. A description of the symbolism which it was intended to invoke was given by Rundle Clark. Clark: “One has to envision a perch extending out of the waters of the Void. On it rests a grey heron, the herald of all things to come. It opens its mouth and breaks the silence of the ancient night with the call of light and purpose, which ‘determines what is and what is not to be’… The Phoenix, therefore, embodies the original the Word (or Logos) or declaration of destiny which mediates between the divine-mind and created things…In a sense, when the phoenix gave out the... Read more »

The Seed of the Phoenix and the Great Pyramid

July 8, 2008

One of the most mysterious myths of ancient Egypt was the legend of the Phoenix. Rundle Clark in explains the relationship of the bennu bird to the phoenix and the symbolism it was intended to invoke. Clark: “One has to imagine a roost extending out from the deep of the Abyss. On it rests a herald (a grey heron) of all things to come. It opens its beak and breaks the quiet of the dawn with the call of life and destiny, which ‘determines what is to be and what is not′… The Phoenix, therefore, embodies the original Logos, the Word,... Read more »

Is it Possible to Run Your Car Or Truck With Water?

July 7, 2008

It is understandable that many people have doubt that you can run your car on water. In fact, in many ways, they are right. Currently there is no affordable car on earth that can run entirely on water, and converting your car to run on nothing but water is probably a million dollar investment in time and research. There is, however, a way to turn your own car into an incredibly inexpensive hydrogen powered hybrid car, simply by adding some home made machinery that you can easily create yourself. It’s possible for this technology to work because it uses simple parts that are available at most hardware stores. These parts facilitate the use of power from your auto’s battery to break-apart... Read more »

Corporate Income Tax Reform— Seriously

July 3, 2008

The investor’s eye view of politics is a simplistic, practical, dot-connecting approach to sorting things out so that win/win change can be considered. Real world politics is not concerned with such things, and that is one of the most serious problems facing investors today. There are at least ten issues that require government action if we are to maintain our competitive position in the world economy. Most of these are interrelated and need to be acted upon simultaneously— thus causing a major political dilemma. Politicians are much more interested in talking about change than they are in actually legislating it; they prefer to... Read more »

The Great Pyamid and the Promise of Redemption

July 2, 2008

The first three chapters in the Book of Genesis reveals the divine plan concerning life and death. It is absolutely necessary to grasps these truths and without this knowledge it is impossible to properly understand the rest of the Bible. But not only does the Bible contain these elementary principles so does the Great Pyramid The basis for the Christian religion is summed up in the scripture 1 Timothy 2:5-6 where it is stated that, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ, who gave Himself as a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” This is the fundamental doctrine of Christianity. The concept of ransom... Read more »

The rise and fall of the Gaza Strip

July 1, 2008

As many of the Gaza Strip citizens lived under the chaos of the political differences between the Palestinians and Israelis both, they found themselves wondering: what is the future of Gaza? Will it continue is its current turmoil and descent or will it prosper once again as the city of the seas? The Gaza strip is an irony in itself. Looking back at its history you will find that when the Israelis were in control of the city the Palestinians long fought for its independence. When the day came and the Israelis gave up partial control of Gaza City, the Palestinians found themselves fighting for control of Gaza by the two major parties in power, Hamas, and Fatah. When will the Gaza Strip see... Read more »

The Advent of Pyramidology

July 1, 2008

Many have held to the belief, over the centuries, that the purpose of the Great Pyramid was not as a tomb but that it’s real purpose was something. But the real purpose was not discovered until the end of the 1800’s. The greater majority of those doubters ( that the pyramid was a tomb) felt that it was something more; something far greater. During the middle ages mystics and star worshippers convened and had meetings inside the Pyramid believing they gained wisdom just from being on the inside. They would go into the King’s chamber thinking this was the most vital place to contact... Read more »
