Factors That Contribute To Hair Loss
Hair loss is something that can be attributed to a lot of factors. Hair loss is the thinning of hair on the head. There are many different shapes and forms of hair loss. Men hair loss problems can occur at any age starting from adolescence while others experience this earlier. This condition, be it women or men hair loss, can deeply affect some people. This is the reason why many people strive to hold on to their strands as long as they possibly can.
Your Genes Can Determine Your Hair Line
Your ancestry or family tree is a big factor in determining the future of your hair loss. Your genes are the blueprint in time as to what will happen with your hair. There are also other factors, not related to genes, that affect us as we live and grow. Thankfully, just because some of the men in your family have bald spots does not necessarily mean that you will. It all depends on how dominant the bald gene is in you.
How Stress and Other Health Conditions Can Affect Your Hair
Many people do not realize it, but stress plays a major role in the loss of hair that turned to bald spots in your scalp. People who are under a great deal of stress often do not eat properly which leads to nutrient deficiencies in your body which can also contribute to hair loss. When you are severely stressed, you may see an increase in loss of hair.
Health conditions, both physical and mental can affect your hair loss. Both play a part in whether your hair loss is temporary or permanent. Chemotherapy can cause you to lose your hair, but in most cases the hair loss is only temporary. In cases of mental disturbance, there are those who actually subconsciously pull out their own hair. This can contribute to hair loss, but again is only temporary when the mental disorder is reversed.
Unfortunately, there is some hair loss that is permanent, but there are some wonderful remedies for that. You must remember, however, to carefully protect the roots of your hair that you have left which are called “follicles.” When the follicles are damaged, this hair cannot regrow itself.
